Novel archive

Writing Space Quest novels has become a popular past-time for many SQ fans. Unfortunately, few of them actually complete their novel projects. Some people, however, have stuck with it 'till the end, and are now able to present their works for the world to see. These novels are written in Microsoft Word format and presented for download as zip files. If you require assistance in decompressing or viewing these files, please consult the help section.

When you've poked through here, be sure to check out the Total Series Novelization project! I'm really psyched about that one.

Once again, the stories are sorted by author. The authors are in alphabetical order (which means I'm one of the last...again...)

Troels Pleimert

The Sarien Encounter

by Troels Pleimert

Description: As the sun of the Earnon solar system is slowly dying out, scientists are hard at work figuring out a way to avoid a permanent ice age. Their solution is a device known as the Star Generator--a device capable of igniting an otherwise lifeless planetoid into a raging ball of flame. However, during its final testing phase, the Star Generator is stolen by ruthless outlaws, and the crew of the spacelab Arcada are slaughtered. Janitor Roger Wilco is the only survivor, and must brave endless dunes and fight evil, braindead monsters in order to restore the device and save his galaxy.

Comments: This is the first Space Quest novel ever written, and doubles as the novel that started the whole craze. It is a novelization of the first Space Quest adventure game, which (by an amazing coincidence) was subtitled The Sarien Encounter.

Added: 1997 (carry-over from Wilco's Domain).

Occasional foul language. Graphic violence.

Lone Voyager

by Troels Pleimert
and Leonard Kramer

Description: When an old Earth Voyager satellite confronts the DeepShip 86 after billions of years underway, all hell breaks loose. The satellite, however, has developed an intelligence during its long journeys--and a psychotic personality to boot.

Comments: Forthcoming.

Added: 1997 (carry-over from Wilco's Domain).

Explicit language. Twisted scenery.

Daniel Stacey

Future's History

by Daniel Stacey

Description: Roger, Jr., tilted his head up just enough to see the largest head he'd ever seen. Of course, it wasn't a real head. It was just a play on light - a hologram. But the consciousness behind the head, that was very real. Seeing that face again, it once more reminded him of something; what was it? The image was the one he'd glimpsed before on the holodisk that one of the Sequel Policemen had shown his father, only this time it appeared a great deal bigger. He'd come face to face with Sludge Vohaul.

Comments: Daniel's excellent novel picks up where Space Quest 4 left off, exploring Roger Wilco, Jr., as he attempts to rebuild a world ravaged by the machinations of Sludge Vohaul.

Added: 1997 (carry-over from Wilco's Domain).

Explicit language.

Future's History II

by Daniel Stacey

Description: No description available.

Comments: Mr. Stacey once again takes an exciting trip into the post-SQ12 timeline with Roger Wilco, Jr., and company. Don't miss it!

Added: 1997 (carry-over from Wilco's Domain).

Explicit language.
