Space Quest I (EGA)
- In Space Quest I v1.0X, typing "ken" on the opening screen aboard the Arcada causes Sierra On-Line CEO Ken Williams to walk onto the screen and complain that the game is behind schedule.
Leaving the screen, returning, and typing "ken" again produces the message "Dave? Dave's not here," a reference to the comedy duo Cheech & Chong.

- In Space Quest I v2.2, typing "scott" or "scott murphy" at any time during play displays a personal message from Space Quest co-designer and programmer Scott Murphy.
- Step behind the Droids-B-Us building in Ulence Flats and type "TAKE LEAK" to see one of three messages. Also, you'll find a spare buckazoid back there.

Space Quest I (VGA)
- Use the TONGUE icon on the purple spiral above the doorway that Roger exits after putting on the Sarien uniform aboard the Deltaur. A Latex Babe
from Space Quest IV will run across the bottom of the screen.
Space Quest II
- In SQ2, type TAKE CONDOM while you're by the open lockers on the
Xenon Orbital Station.
- After crash landing on Labion, type "FUCK DEAD BODY" to see this message referencing
Space Quest co-creator Mark Crowe.
- On any screen, type "CHEAT" and press return. This will immediately
complete the game with 255 points out of 250 and display a congratulatory message.
Space Quest IV
- In the sewer maintenance office on Xenon, walk down to the lower-left corner of the screen.
Select the Buckazoid from your inventory, move it as far into the lower-left corner as possible, and click.
This triggers a brief slideshow featuring photos from programmer Neil Matz's European vacation (including a shout-out to Public Enemy). This only works in the CD-ROM version of SQ4.

- When Roger gains access to the timepod, enter the code seen in the screenshot below (the first five characters on the top row of the keypad, left to right, and then the first character on the second row).
Roger will travel to Ortega, last seen in Space Quest III! It's too bad he didn't bring his ThermoWeave underwear.

- In the Big and Tall store in the Galaxy Galleria, you can sometimes find a
guy rummaging around near the bargain selection. This is former Sierra
On-Line programmer, Bob Andrews. To make him appear, go to the Big and
Tall store after clearing out the ATM and changing back into your own
clothes, but before buying the PocketPal adapter. This only works in the
CD-ROM version of SQ4.

Space Quest 5
- AstroChicken makes a quick appearance aboard the
Eureka. Take the lift down to the shuttlebay and look to the far left.
There's an array of lockers there. Open the one to the far left and watch.
Space Quest 6
- To enable debug mode, just create a blank file titled CLASSES (with no extension) and place it in your SQ6
directory. When you load the game, you'll be presented with the teleport menu.
Here are some commands you can try in debug mode:
- ALT-C - Show Cast (displays all animated characters on screen)
- ALT-E - Show Ego (shows your player character)
- ALT-G - Modify Flags
- ALT-I / ALT-O - Get Items
- ALT-P - Edit Polygons
- ALT-R - Show Room Info
- ALT-S - Scaler Tool
- ALT-T - Return to the Teleport Menu
- ALT-U - HandsOn
- ALT-X - Exit the Game
- CTRL-S - Test a Sound
- If you play Stooge Fighter III on the birthdays of three of the SQ6
programmers, the names of the stooges will change. The following birthdays
work: April 11th (Michael Lytton), January 3rd (Steve Conrad), and
December 29th (Bill Shockley).
- If you enter 8-Rear and your computer date is set to Halloween
(October 31) or Michael Lytton's birthday (April 11), Circuit Sydney's
detached head will start following you around, with its eyes glowing.
- If you Ctrl+Click on the video screen in 8-Rear 7 times, the
"Renegade Credits" will appear. You'll also be rewarded by
Roger saying "I'm Roger Wilco, and I'll kick your ass! I know where you
live" at the end.
- In the cyberspace office, clicking the EYE-cursor on the background
produces the response, "You saw it here first. A preview of the famed
information superhighway. Wow!" However, a few more clicks,
Gary will say, "Wow! This makes my nipples hard!" instead.
-
While seated in the shuttle, you can unlock a hidden menu containing the game's various SVGA cutscenes.
Follow these steps to access it:
- Turn the power on
- Open the glove box
- Press the Movies button
- Press the red button on the right steering wheel
-
Another hidden feature in the shuttle pays tribute to SQ6 co-designer Josh Mandel.
Follow these directions to see it:
- Turn the power on
- Open the glove box
- Press the Games button
- Press the red button on the right steering wheel

- How does a game know when you're using a walk-through? Well, it's a good indicator when you find a hidden
file that you shouldn't know about yet. In Cyberspace in SQ6, just try pulling the file on Project Immortality before you've actually read about it in Doctor Beleaux's file. The following sequence occurs:
