Yes, but you must use a prenex.  The precise analogue of

1)	da poi broda zo'u da brode

is

2)	su'o bu'a cei broda zo'u zo'e bu'a

The parser thinks that "su'o bu'a" is a sumti (a so-called "indefinite
description"), but in the prenex only, it is treated as creating a
quantified 2nd-order variable.  "cei" is the pro-bridi assignment, so 
Example 2 means:

3)	zo'e broda
